Dr. Rangan Sukumar is a Senior Analytics Architect in the CTO office at Cray. He is a hands-on analytics and HPC expert, evangelizing how massive data and high performance computing can benefit data centric organizations. Drawing on his experience as a lead data scientist and researcher at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Rangan has over 70 publications on designing discovery algorithms for massive-scale datasets. He earned his PhD from the University of Tennessee and is also a recipient of several awards, including the 2016 “Oscars of Invention” from R&D100.
