J. Ray Scott
Biography
J Ray Scott is Senior Director of Facilities Technology at
the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC). He manages a
staff of thirty system administrators, network
administrators and researchers, information systems
analysts, security specialists, software developers, and
technicians, who are responsible for installation and
operation of NSF‐funded HPC, Storage and Network systems
for the national research community.
J Ray is Principal Investigator of the NSF-funded DIBBs project “The Data Exacell” and is Co-PI on the NSF-funded equipment acquisition and operations project Bridges, which includes the first deployment of the Intel Omni-Path interconnect fabric.
