I am passionate about Parallel Programming and Parallel Computer Architecture. Fast computers! I have had the great fortune to help make key contributions to two of the world's fastest computers (#1 on the "Top500" lists many times) and many other supercomputers. I am always looking to improve the methods and tools for Parallel Programming through better models, understanding and training. I have authored/edited to create eight books (so far) reflecting this passion. I have taught many courses, classes, tutorials, workshops and written some books! I am familiar with software developer markets from embedded to HPC. I am an HPC expert with deep knowledge of systems on Intel Xeon Phi products (Knights Corner, Knights Landing, etc.). I was blessed to work for Intel for 10,001 days (over 27 years) mostly on software developer tools and HPC supercomputer projects. I do consulting now, and work at a start-up called Pattern Computer.
