Danny Perez
Biography
Danny Perez is a technical staff member in the Theoretical
Division of Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he
arrived in 2007 as a Director’s Postdoctoral Fellow. Prior
to joining Los Alamos, he obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from
Université de Montréal in Canada. His research centers on
the development, implementation, and application of
long-timescale atomistic simulation techniques for
materials. He is currently the deputy-PI of a program
funded by the DOE Exascale Computing Project that is
tasked with developing exascale-scalable atomistic
simulation tools that will harness extreme levels of
parallelism to deliver simulations over an unprecedented
range of sizes, times, and accuracies.
