John Levesque is the Director of the Cray’s Supercomputer Center of Excellence; recently establish to assist researchers in moving applications to the Trinity system installed at Los Alamos National Laboratory the end of 2016. Prior to 2015 he was the Director of the Center of Excellence based in Oak Ridge National Laboratory. There he was responsible for the group performing application porting and optimization for break-through science projects. Levesque has been in High Performance computing for 51 years. Levesque is in Cray’s Chief Technology Office, monitoring the company's efforts in application performance and programming environments.
