James H. Laros III is a Principal Member of Technical Staff in the Center for Computing Research, Scalable Computer Architectures department of Sandia National Laboratories. James’ background includes a wide range of HPC systems software and computer architecture topics including power and energy measurement control. James leads the development of the The High Performance Computing — Power Application Programming Interface Specification, the Advanced Architecture Test-Beds program and is the Chief Architect of the DOE/NNSA Alliance for application Performance at EXtreme scale (APEX) program.
