Ian Karlin is a computer scientist in Livermore Computing
at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). His work
primarily focuses on the performance optimization of
applications and optimizing system procurements for a
target application workload mix. Currently he co-leads the
CORAL-2 benchmark team for LLNL. He is also the deputy for
the institutional Center of Excellence aimed at porting
strategically important LLNL applications to the
forthcoming Sierra supercomputer.

at Boulder in 2011.
