Guido Juckeland

Biography
Guido Juckeland is head of the Computational Science
Group, Department for Information Services and Computing,
at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR);
coordinates work at the GPU Center of Excellence at
Dresden; and represents HZDR at the SPEC HPG and OpenACC
committee. His research focuses on better usability and
programmability for hardware accelerators and application
performance monitoring as well as optimization. He is the
vice-chair of the SPEC High Performance Group (HPG) and
the Secretary for OpenACC. He received his PhD from
Technische Universität Dresden for work on hardware
accelerator performance analysis, and was a finalist for
the Gordon Bell Award in 2013.
