Judit Jimenez
Biography
Judit Gimenez has a Computer Science Engineering degree
from UPC
(1989). Her first work was in the development and support of parallel
systems based on transputers. She has been involved in technology transfer
activities participating in different initiatives to promote the usage of
parallel computing by European SMEs. Nowadays she is the leader of the
Performance Tools team in the Computer Sciences department at BSC. From the
last 16 years she is responsible for the research, development and
distribution of the performance analysis tools. The research is focused on
identifying and applying performance analytics, that are data analytic
techniques applied to performance data. Scalability, on-line techniques and
performance extrapolation are complementary lines of work targeting
detailed performance analysis at exascale. Since October 2015 she actively
participates in the POP Center of Excellence (EU H2020 project) that
promotes Performance Optimization and Productivity (POP), leading the work for
the performance assessments.
