Weronika Filinger
Biography
Weronika Filinger is an HPC Application Developer and has
been working at the Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre
(EPCC) since 2013. Weronika has an MPhys in Mathematical
Physics and an MSc in High Performance Computing from
EPCC.
Weronika has been deeply involved in the design, development and delivery of the first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Supercomputing aimed at general public, and she will be facilitating the second run of the course. Her broad interest in training and education has led her to be a part of the EPCC outreach team, taking HPC related activities to public events.
During her time at EPCC, Weronika has worked on a number of collaborative projects such as CRESTA, ADEPT and APES. She has also provided a consultancy for the Software Sustainability Institute and provides support for the users of the AMBER package on the UK National Supercomputer ARCHER.
