SC17 Media Registration Requirements
Due to a large increase in requests for media credentials for SC conferences, we are implementing a more formal policy to define who qualifies for a media badge. As has always been the case, even if you have qualified for a media badge in the past, you must re-submit a media registration request for SC17. Approval in a previous year does not guarantee approval for 2017.
When you complete the media registration form, you will be asked to select the type of organization that you will be representing at SC17. You may be requested for supporting documentation if it is not easily available online.
Media credentials will only be issued to requestors who are active contributors or employed by a publication, news organization, digital news outlet or be a recognized industry analyst. As an example, we can not approve media credentials to Public Relations, Sales or Marketing professionals. Additionally, videographers working for exhibitors, book authors, consultants, etc. do not meet the new criteria for media registration.
Details on media registration requirements are below. If you have any questions about your eligibility, please contact: media@info.supercomputing.org
All requests are approved at the discretion of the conference management.
