The University of Texas at Dallas attracts Nobel laureates, renowned researchers, top students, and alliances with business and industry. Recent designation as a Carnegie R1 Highest Research Activity institution and ranking as the top American university established less than 50 years validates our efforts. The Office of Information Technology provides cyber-infrastructure services. Our High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster farm has 4112 computing cores and 15,672 Phi cores with jobs locally, at TACC, and other XSEDE centers. We have world-class network researchers, significant local HPC and networking, the only DFW hosted GENI rack, and extensive DFW telecom infrastructure.
