Exhibitor Description
Purdue Research Computing supports an advanced centralized research cyberinfrastructure that serves researchers in all of Purdue’s colleges and schools. Resources include multiple shared, TOP500-class supercomputing clusters as well as systems with specialized purposes such as big data analytics and teaching high-performance computing. These are backed by state-of-the-art network and storage systems and expert staff support, including assistance with software tool and science gateway building, and help accessing campus resources as well as the National Science Foundation Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE), in which Purdue is a partner. Other Purdue Research Computing services include HUBzero, an open source cyberinfrastructure for research and education developed at Purdue, and the Envision Center, which offers services such as research data visualization and virtual environment and simulation creation.
