Exhibitor Description
Kyoto University is a major and the second oldest national university in Japan. The Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies (ACCMS) is a research center for a wide range of IT fields including supercomputing. This booth presents about our TOP500-listed supercomputers, whose aggregate peak performance exceeds 7 PFlops. We also present our key research activities on supercomputing, emphasizing our collaborative research work with application programmers and the High Performance Computing Infrastructure (HPCI) project. In addition, our high-performance visualization technology is demonstrated using a large display and large scale physical simulations.
