Dirk Pflüger

Biography
Dirk Pflüger is junior professor at the Institute for Parallel and
Distributed Systems and in the SimTech Cluster of Excellence at the
University of Stuttgart. His research interests include high-dimensional
problems and simulations; numerical methods to solve them, especially
adaptive sparse grids; data-driven problems and their efficient
implementation; high-performance computing; fault tolerance; and
hardware-aware hybrid implementations. He heads the project EXAHD in
the priority program "Software for Exascale Computing" (SPPEXA) of the
German Research Foundation (DFG).
