Yantong is currently a graduate student in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Advanced Analytics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Statistics also at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Yantong has experience in research regarding weather forecasting and her current research interest is to study possible difficulties in reproducible research with her statistics background, by designing experiments and various tests to be performed on different groups of authors.
