Susumu Yamada is a Principal Scientist of the Simulation Technology Research and Development Office at the Center for Computational Science and e-Systems in JAEA. He received his Ph.D degree from Tohoku University in 1998. He studied high performance eigenvalue solvers for the quantum physics in Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI) during 2002-2005, and in JAEA during 2005-2017. His current interests include the numerical analysis and high performance computing.
