Andrei Vassiliev
Biography
Andrei Vassiliev Ph.D. is CEO of Scientific Concepts International Corporation, providing Intellectual Property (IP) cores for FPGAs and ASICs in supercomputing, broadband networking and instrumentation. He started his research career as a Scientist at the world’s top Scientific Laboratories. Andrei’s commercial career includes over 25 years in the design of real-time Software, DSP, IP cores and design verification for FPGAs, ASICs and ICs. His experience includes managing diverse international teams on the first pass successful designs of digital and mixed-signal ASICs and SoC FPGAs. Andrei published scientific research papers and he holds US patents “Device Array Topology Configuration and Source Code Partitioning for Device Arrays”, “Programmable Forwarding Plane” and has pending patent application “Code Partitioning for the Arrays of Devices”. He is a member of IEEE Communication Society and has served as a peer reviewer for the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP).
