Anthony Kougkas is a 5th year Ph.D. student at Illinois Institute of Technology in the Computer Science department, advised by Dr. Xian-He Sun. He holds a BSc in Military Science and an MSc in Computer Science, both received in Athens, Greece. His research is focused on Parallel and Distributed Systems, Parallel I/O optimizations, HPC systems, and Key-Value Store solutions. He is a member of the Scalable Computing Software(SCS) lab at IIT and works closely with Argonne National Laboratory.
