Michael D’mello
Biography
Michael D'Mello has spent the last 24 years in the computer industry specializing in the field of Parallel Computing. Past
employers include Thinking Machines Corporation, Convex Computer Corporation, and the Hewlett-Packard Company.
He has been with Intel since 2003 and is currently a Senior Engineer in Intel's Data Center Group. His primary interest is
in the area of code optimization with a special focus on computing patterns commonly seen in High Performance Scientific
Computing. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of Texas, Austin.
