
Biography
Bhaskar Chaudhury is currently an Associate Professor of Computational Science at DA-IICT, India. Before joining DA-IICT, he worked as a researcher at LAPLACE Laboratory, CNRS, France for six years in the areas of Modeling and Simulation of Plasmas, and large scale code development using emerging computing architectures. His research interests include Computational Plasma Physics, Computational Electromagnetics, High Performance Computing, parallel programming models, GPUs and data science. He has a PhD in Computational Physics from Institute for Plasma Research, India. He has more than 40 journal and conference publications in the areas of Computational Science and HPC.
